Hey everybody!
After four amazing (and exhausting days) Comic Con came to an end. We had such a wonderful time meeting everyone who came by the booth. It was a great experience for us to finally put some faces to the names we’ve seen floating around the site. We also had the opportunity to share CreatureBox for the first time with many attendees. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with the results of the show – expect to see us again next year!
Major congrats to all our winners of Sketchbook Pro 2009 along with a big THANK YOU to our friends at Autodesk that made it happen. We’re extremely excited about the future of the software and encourage you all to give it a try if you’re looking for the most natural drawing software out there.
Also, thanks for all the support with the Sketchbook! We will be sending an email out shortly with instructions on how to order the “Waiting List” copies. Afterwards, any remaining sketchbooks will be sold through the site – we’ll keep you all posted!
Again, this was a great experience for us. Now to start planning for 2009!

For those of you who asked to be put on the mailing list, an email has been sent out with the instructions on how to get a copy. For everyone else who may be interested, we’re closing the waiting list for the time being. When all of the “Waiting List” orders have been filled, we will try to make available whatever stock we have left through the website. Thanks again for all the support!!!

Hey guys, it was great meeting you at the con. I only got the trial version of sketchbook pro, but i’m thinking of getting the full version, i love it!
one question i had that i forgot to ask: do you guys use tablets or do you have cintiq monitors? thanks!!
PS- the sketchbook was well worth the money. Honestly, my favorite thing I got at Comic-Con!

Danny – We had a minor email issue that we’re looking into. No worries, we’ll have a book for you.
Todd – Really glad you liked the book! We use Cintiq tablets for our work (and I occasionally use my TabletPC as well).
Aghh, so bummed I couldn’t make it to the con. I’m going to try next year sounds ( and looks ) like the Super Bowl for drawing artists.
Do you all think that you will have enough time to continue posting here on the best blog I ever found?
Can’t wait for my sketchbook to get here!

Hey Guys, I got the E-mail, sent my payment per your specifications and eagerly await. I sent you a message concerning my shipping address. (I cannot recieve U.S. Mail to my house, so I provided a P.O. Box as well if it’s shipped through U.S. Mail) I put a notation in the paypal payment, but I wanted to make sure it was seen, as I know If I didn’t recieve it for some mistake on my own part, a deep hollow sadness would linger in my soul, one which no refund could ever repair…

Guys, great to meet you and a big big thanks for introducing me to Sketchbook. My work had gotten very stiff since moving to a cintiq but now I know why, this really allows me to loosen up again. I seriously cant put the pen down since I got the thing. Am gutted now seeing thta the prize winners got a full copy of the software!! Book is just great too by the way, well done on that. Look forward to seeing ye guys at the con next year

Greg, the path comic was amazing. I’m looking forward to your next comic project. Love the design of the creature box book and hope to hear what you think of the Scrap book. It awesome to hear about your journeys with art at the con, you guys are truly inspiring.

Hey guys, I just finished watching the DVD that came with the sketchbook and I have to say it was totally awesome!! I know it’s not a tutorial per-say but it is one of the fastest learning tools for drawing I’ve ever seen. Just when I think the drawing can’t get any better, you add a tiny bit more color or a small highlight in just the right place and it goes up another notch. How long does one of those drawing take to complete? Because it seems to me like it takes maybe 2 or 3 times longer than the video, but maybe you guys are human after all and you’ll say something like a few hours (at least). It was great catching up with you Greg and it was nice to finally put a face to go along with Dave’s wonderful creativity and sense of humor. Talk to you soon (hopefully).

Finally ordered the book (just before the deadline) and looking forward to it’s arrival.
Hope to see you guys next year at San Diego as I am also looking forward to my move to California.
Can’t wait for the sketchbook and even more so the dvd (since I’ve always hoped that I could download the videos you have on the blog for inspiration).
