CreatureBox at Alias Design Community

Over the last year, CreatureBox has had the pleasure of working with Autodesk on the beta version of the latest release of Sketchbook. We love working with them and are excited to be a part of such a great tool’s development.
Recently, we had the opportunity to talk about some of our process and our skewed insights into this weird little world of character design. The interview is on Alias Design Community and has a few images that peek into a bit more of the “process” behind the scenes.
As an added bonus, we have been given copies of Sketchbook Pro 2009 to give away at Comic-Con! That’s right, full licensed versions of our favorite drawing app. To keep everything fair, we’re having a raffle: anyone who picks up one of our ashcans gets the chance to draw a winning ticket and become the proud owner of Autodesk Sketchbook! So come on by and test your luck. And for those who don’t get a copy, well, we’ll have a little something to console you. It’ll be ok, we promise.
We look forward to seeing you all at the show (Booth #4502), and for those of you on the waiting list, we will be letting everyone know what’s left of our stash after the convention. It’s first come first serve. Thanks again for the support!

Do you have an screenshots/video of you guys using sketchbook pro? I want to see it in action, but don’t want to install a trial on my machine.
Great article guys!! You always have a way of describing things that really make it feel like you’re talking to friends. Congrats on another bit of success for Creaturebox, I look forward to seeing you guys at Con on Friday.
Cheers!!
Alfred
you guys are great! congrats for the interview! i hate mother nature to create so huge planet with so far distances! ok i wait to buy the new Sketchbbok Pro. there are some relevant improvement? it would be great to not have that deep smoothing when you enlarge a bit some selection, i know it’s normal for the nature of SP but it would be great to be more like photoshop in this sense. also more briliant colors would be appreciated. oh and i frequently delete my custom brushes for error clicking on the basket, a window with “do you want to delete this brushes?” would be appreciated XD
thanks for the big inspiration guys! hope to meet you two one day!
have a nice con!
That was an awesome read! Inspiring. I had no idea you guys did everything in Sketchbook Pro.
