Dave,
One with a background and one without. Do you have some stock backgrounds you slide in and out of your caracter sketches once you do one or are all of them from scratch and character specific?

Hey Bernard,
I have a few brushes I enjoy using for background texture but each background tends to be created from scratch. For the past couple years I’ve put together some template files that have a layer structure in place to save a bit of time. For larger sets of related characters Greg and I will create common neutral backgrounds to add consistency. (A couple examples can be found in the galleries). Hope that helps!
