After four and a half days of driving, we arrived safely in North Carolina. The trip was surprisingly relaxing even as we carted the cats through 4 different hotels. Aside from some torrential downpours in Texas and a car fire in Tennessee, the drive was pretty tame. My gracious in-laws have taken us in until we can find a home and even allowed me to set up a make shift studio. I’m looking forward to drawing more during my time off. Here’s to new adventures!

Hooray Dave! Or, uh, is it Beer? Anyway, glad you made it. Sounds like a crazy trip although I would like to see your in-laws faces when you unpack and setup all the techno equipment ( Computer(s), Cintiq and your Helmet and Ray Guns, etc. ) or have they seen your Cali studio?
If the drawing for this post was done in your new locale then we have nothing to worry about…you havn’t missed a beat!
Take Care,
Bernard

Dave and Greg I hate to see you guys leave, (although I’ve only met you once.)but I’m just as happy to see you guys venture into the next phase of your lives. Thank God for the internet!!! All of the new posts are awesome and I hope the best for you guys and your families. Keep the artwork coming: you guys are awesome!!!
That’s good you made it safe! May your new home turn out to be a happy one.
Wow, I would love to have seen Lucy’s face, when you started pulling all this stuff out of the boxes taking over her sewing room. Glad to hear you guys made it alright – talk to you soon!
Your work is awesome. Love the colors
Glad you made it to my side of the country, Dave!
You’re practically just up the road from us now.
Now we have to get you to Atlanta for Dragon*Con in the very near future…
Hi Dave, I’ve had the nose so much to the grindstone this school year that I had no idea you were back on this side of the world. I’ll be looking forward to seeing you sometime… we should be up in the NC / Virginia area during spring break, provided one of the cars is fixed enough for traveling. Take care my friend, Scott
