When I was a kid I was too afraid to touch the bottom of the lake where we vacationed in Maine. It was the old rotting leaves. It just felt so nasty! I always thought some random critter would go on and take a nibble out of my toes. Geez, I’m getting the heebie jeebies just thinking about it. I’d do it if I had a big mech suit though!

Brilliant, as always! Every time I want to see something good, I come to see your work.
I like the designs and uses the colors.
Ciao
Woah, you guys never disappoint.
Greg,
Another creative piece to let my mind go running through…glad you and Dave are back in the box saddle and looking forward to a mighty fine, ’09!
I remember that feeling. Heebie jeebies is right! My parents told me it was just sand and leaves, but jumping off of the old wooden dock made me a imagine a “fresh water stingray” snatchin’ me up like a bear trap… ahhhh, good times.
Good thing this guy is underwater, cause he wouldn’t be to effective on dryland unless he was in a dance studio for army mechs. I can just picture him prancing around under water blasting sea monsters with his wicked hands and doing pirouettes with Ride of the Valkyries playing in the background! This looks like it was a fun piece to create with those great contradictions between the arms and the legs.
Whhhhaaaat!?! Awesome robot!!!
Great work my friend. I LOVE the shapes and design!
So gorgeous… your use of color never ceases to amaze me.
I’m with you! I murky water and slimy things at the bottom of the lake still give me the “Heebie Jeebies!
Wow! Awesome. Love the colours.
Heh, I’ve read so many Stephen King novels that doing anything in Maine would give me the “Heebie Jeebies”…
Glad you guys like it and can sympathize with my phobias. Now I want to draw the murky leaf monster under my Grandma’s lake! Something has to come out of this childhood trauma.
Great, Sir! This piece has everything one could want in a science fiction fantasy… like i said, you boys rock!
Very nice work Greg….Very,very niceeeee…..Pops
this is my first time checking out creature box and the artwork is amazing and this one is my favorite the style and color blend perfectly together to create a rich stylized piece
