    Dave,
I’m the Old/Newbie and was wondering if you felt that the Sketchbook soft is faster and easier to learn than the same parts I would need to learn using photoshop?

    Thanks,
    Bernard

    Hi Bernard,
The nice thing about Sketchbook is there’s actually very little to learn. The interface is extremely intuitive and within a couple of hours you should be good to go. You’ll probably spend the most time setting up brushes that feel right to you (though you would have the same task in Photoshop). I’ve never been a fan of drawing in Photoshop and reserve the software for painting and color work in general. Painting in Sketchbook is certainly possible, though somewhat painful. Hope that helps.
