We have a confession to make: we like to draw stuff. But even more, we love exploring. Whether bringing to life an Albino Skerlax with a fresh pen or watching a ravenous Kragodile emerge from washes of ink, we often find ourselves running through the woods stirring up bizarre adventures. So when the planet rung in the new year, we had our sights set on collecting our newest pursuits behind the art table. And before we knew it, one book became three. SHRED: Volume 3

With over 170 designs, SHRED: Volume 3 wrangles our most diverse exploration of the galaxy and beyond. Gathering hidden excerpts from our personal sketchbooks, two years of Inktober, and over 50 new characters, SHRED represents an intimate look into our thought process. And did we mention there are plenty of Dad jokes?

Fanboys

As kids of the 80’s, we found ourselves raised adventurously by adoptive parents in the form of Optimus, Mario and a few flavors of ninja. The battle of Good vs. Evil, 30-minute toy commercials, and the promise of new adventure (just after the break) served as cornerstones to our young creative life. We were cut deep by the fading blue eyes in Transformers: The Movie, but only because we truly cared for these larger than life characters.

Those days ignited a passion for comics and cartooning that keeps this crazy train moving. So, for the first time, we’ve collected over 100 highlights of our fanart from the last 10 years and brought them to the page. Let’s raise a glass to our favorite heroes (and villains), old (and new). Just after the break.

Did you see that? No, that wasn’t a meteor striking the earth. That was SHRED: Volume 2 blazing back to life in an explosion of paper and ink. All told, these four books tally to over 250 pages and chronicle 1460 days of exploration.
